Look at their UNC stats. They ran the ball for 279 yds,5.7 yds a carry, more than they did vs Nova. Only trailed 13-7 at halftime, 20-14 late in the third quarter. Look at many of the FCS teams vs FBS teams and scores are close late into the game and then depth kicks in. W&M is really tough against the run. Should be an interesting match up. BTW W&M should have beaten UVA. Then again UVA is weak, buy they should have beaten ND.
After the impressive win over UD, Cats stunk up the place vs Penn. Oh well , a new season begins on Oct 10 vs W&M.

Uncle Ed, I hope you are right and we turn things around. IMO unfortunately I don't see it my impression after the 4 games is, we are soft and now there is no offensive leader on the team as well as no defensive voice.
Again I hope I'm wrong.....

William and Mary is a very tough team. If we beat them it will certainly be making a statement that the Cats have a chance to make noise. If we lose, not saying it is the end of the world because beating the tribe would be tough anyway, but I just don't see us getting enough Ws down the stretch to get us into the postseason.

It comes down to Virginia. W&M, Richmond, & JMU.

Must win 2 of 3 to guarantee a playoff spot without a loss to Albany, Towson, Maine, & Rhody.

7-1 (8-3 overall) CAA record will get us in for sure.
6-2 (7-4) CAA most likely
5-3 (6-5) bubble team; very doubtful.

Uncle Ed-your enthusiasm and positive vibes are really timely. The Tribe is very good and underrated. Up until Pennsylvania, we were overrated. This is a huge game in my opinion. Win, and we become a likely playoff team. Lose, and most likely, not.
