I love hearing people talk about house of cards as a "smart" show. That show is so crazily detached from reality that I have a hard time calling it smart.

Entertaining though, and I'll probably watch in the next couple months

House of Cards is basically Richard III for people who can't handle Shakespeare. It's porn for people who are convinced that their government is corrupt. The acting is excellent though.
