When he coached at Gorman Tony Sanches had the best of everything: a fully customized weight room that would put many college facilities to shame, a plush locker room with all the modern bells and whistles ,hydrotherapy pool and a roster full of players who would go on to top level programs ( think VU # 23 Lorenzo Fertitta, a Soph DB ) .He had connections to big money, - the Fertitta Athletic Center at BG bears the family name of Station Cross and Ultimate Fighting Championship's co- founding brothers. Can he coach? His last six seasons at BG he went 85-5 (WOW). Randall Cunningham"s son played there. Lorenzo Fertitta's younger brother is at ND. The Fertitta family is known as a very prominent Catholic family. Can anyone make UNLV have a winning football program? This Sanches guy might.
