Villanova slight favorite over Richmond

If we can beat Richmond, that sets up a very interesting game at JMU the next week; like many have already said, we have a chance in that game too given Lee's absence

Richmond only has one win over a .500 team. Cats have the one win over Fordham(over.500). Cats have played a slightly better schedule to date but have more more losses. Cats are home. Massey and Sagarin and Five Dimes have us as very small favorites. My head says Richmond is the bet. Heart pumps Blue and White blood. GO CATS!!!!

Richmond fan here. There is no surprise about this match-up. Your coach is very good and your team is very good. They will figure out what the Albany coaches saw two weeks ago- that our QB, who is very good, can make mistakes. The Albany coaches made half-time adjustments that forced our QB into making 4 INTs. The UNH coaches did the same thing. The result is that he has thrown 8 INTs in the last two games. Feel free to visit us at Spidernation.com. IMHO, no matter what happens, Villanova makes the playoffs.

Thanks for the invite but if we don't get 7 wins, we're out. Here's to a well played game where the better team wins and the refs and weather don't play a part.

Mostly likely simply because the game is at our house. But I am glad to see it.
Its a four-point swing ... would be two points the other way at Richmond. Assumes a home field/home crowd advantage. Here's hoping a nice day for football and a Homecoming crowd will actually give this team a home field advantage on Saturday.

What is your fan base like? At Richmond, our students are mostly apathetic about football. Most of those who follow football are graduates several years out of school or old geezers with gray hair.
