I didn't see the game but I don't think this was a huge fluke. We certainly should not have been favored by 22 points, nor did we play a horrible game (we scored 52 points!). In reality, we should have been about two touchdowns better, about where most of the game was played once we took a 28-14 lead.

I think Duquesne has been flying a bit under the radar. Last year they played very competitive games at Youngstown and at Buffalo of the MAC, something I didn't notice until after the game yesterday.

Maybe this was the game for them to capture some warranted attention. Believe they accomplished that and played one hell of a game in the process. Just glad we survived.

Duquesne does offer scholarships, but the number is closer to 40 than 63 for CAA teams.
