That would include John Marshall times -- quite an accomplishment.

A second faster than John Marshall ran in the MOC. Of more recent vintage, faster than Robby Andrews.

Actually, it is an MOC record -- the state record is still Marshall's at 1:48.44, so Muhammad has the second fastest time in state history. Let's hope he has a career at Villanova like Marshall's.

Marshall's was run in the summer, so Muhammad's is the fastest ever run in a high school race. It's also the fastest where someone finished first.

All of that is good, but Marshall's time is still the state record and a lot of PR's are set in races which someone didn't win.

I'm just glad Muhammad will be at Nova next year.

Wonder if he's running nationals (Jun 13-15th) he may have a chance still to set it if so. He did mention in an interview that this was his last high school race.
