So let me get this straight, a higher % of Democrats are in favor of the payroll tax cut, whereas Republicans are split as to whether they want to LOWER taxes?
Here's the irony, the extension of the Bush tax cuts need to be passed through legislation, otherwise they expire, just like the payroll tax cut does. I'm sure they'll be split as to whether they want that extended, right?
Not to pick on Republicans here, but I think this just goes to show how twisted and screwed up the American population is. They'll pretty much believe or by into anything as long as it follows the rhetoric of their party, even if it contradicts everything they are ostensibly about.
