Thus far, Villanova has signed some impressive 800 young women - Sumner, Martinez, Merrill. There are others out there that Villanova should be interested in; in particular, Kelsey Chimiel (Saratoga,NY). Ran a great anchor to win Penn Relays DMR. See greater anchor at Loucks Games:

For those interested, the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix in Boston, on Saturday, will have several future Villanovans running in the Junior Girls' Mile and the Junior Boys' Mile.

An interesting dynamic to the results: future Villanova women took 2nd & 9th; future Stanford cardinals took 1st, 3rd & 4th. Rich do get richer. Boys: Villanova 2nd & 9th; Stanford 4th & 5th; G'town 1st. Trying to keep up with the competition never ends. Is there more coming for Villanova? Maybe ...

Interesting performances at Millrose Games. Boys Mile: (1) Rizzo (Stanford), (2) Renfree (Notre Dame), (3) Dolan (Villanova), (4) Affolder (Oregon). Expect them to hookup at Penn Relays in a couple of years. Note: Stanford keeps getting richer [see previous post]. Girls Mile: (1) Marlee Starliper (Dillsburg, PA). Soundly beats the Stanford signee, Flynn. Starliper graduates in 2020. Is VU interested? Tuohy comes-out next year as well. And, I believe, so does Sonia's daughter, Sophie. Sophie is a must sign for lots of reason. And there is a girl in Australia who might be even better; plus a once-in-a-lifetime runner in NJ. Can VU recruit some of that premier talent? Beware Stanford. They are like the Yankees of track. They buy everything.
