Amazingly, there were only 44 total rebounds up for grabs tonight, as the two teams shot a combined 59.8%. Over the course of the season, our games had an average of 75 rebounds collected.
As Jim Larranaga said in his postame presser, the type of shooting that was on display tonight was an anomaly. There was nothing that the defense can do, about some of the shots that were going in, from Jenkins and Arch in particular. That's over 55% shooting from the Cats in 5 straight halves. Just amazing offensive efficiency. Two-pointers, three-pointers, foul shots. They're playing their best ball at the right time.
