I was sitting at the GT game the other day, and during a TO I was looking up at the scoreboard and it occurred to me that this game was part of something called "the Kickoff NIT." Did that replace the old Preseason NIT? What ever happened to the 16-team field that ended up with the 4 winners playing on Wed/Fri night at MSG?

Wasn't the Akron game part of this field? Is it not a tournament anymore? The Stanford game was on our schedule regardless of whether we won or lost vs. Akron. So if we lost to Akron, we still would have advanced to the Barclay's Center?

Big East teams have gone 20-3 (0.870) since Monday November 23. 7 early season tournaments have concluded over that period with Big East teams winning 4 outright...

I was walking into the Barclays center with my son, brother, his son, and another nephew. There was a group of kids nearby who were heading in, including a couple of VERY tall lanky kids. My son turned to me and said that the one kid is Bomba. My son is tuned into the whole hoops scene (Nova junior) and would know. Nice to know that he's going to the trouble of attending an away game. Although it may be a long shot, at least we're getting a serious look. I'm sure he wasn't there for GTECH.

For me, it has to be Mikal Bridges...kid has played inspired point in the press and has the longest, most deceptive wing span I've seen in a long time. There have been a couple of dunks that looked like the ball was being levitated on an invisible string, hard to describe.

Watching all the games thus far and Josh Hart has taken his game to diffe levels. He is just a joy to watch on both ends. Each year he has improved, but especially this year. He is attacking the rim more in the Half court and making plays for himself and others.

I give him a ton of credit, he has worked hard on making himself more of a complete player on both ends. Between Hart, Arch, and Jalen I am not sure who has more attitude, but I like it. His first step and in the 2-3 drible range Bart is awesome! Very good rebounder as well.

I give credit to Josh, way to work on his game this summer and years previous. I think he will finish his career on the All-BE teams.
