KC Keeler knows how to work the transfer thing. 11 of those 17 are from FBS schools.
They have a good to great Defense led by a super D end. Cats wlll have their hands full.

17 out of 90+ players on the roster. That is not a lot of transfers in my opinion. Plus, out of those 17, 13 of those transfers are kids that all played high school football in Texas.

I know he had a history of that at Delaware, don't look for KC to bring in a lot of transfers in the future. There is plenty of players in Texas to fill many rosters. He had to fill some key positions this year because he arrived so late in Huntsville(two and half weeks before signing day) and SHSU had many holes to fill after graduating a lot of their starters from 2012.

This should be a good game.

Don't see transfers as a big issue.........The majority of transfers from FBS or BCS programs result from kids that aren't seeing any playing time or the probability of playing in the future. Have to assume these kids had only FCS or lower talent to begin with. Don't see how they could limit transfers.....if they qualify for admission, could football eligibility be a reason to keep them out?

ML at least two SHST players were tossed out of their previous school, maybe more. James Overstreet who scored the winning TD was tossed off the Texas team this summer. Academic issue, are you kidding?
