Saw someone mention this, but IMO it has helped our defense early. Our 3/4 press was less about creating turn overs and more about using up the shot clock. With 5 less seconds teams have less time to get into their offense. They are rushing their shots and do not have the time for that 1 extra pass to get a better shot.
