I'd take the plane too. The buildup would be the same as the buildup of shooting yourself in the head and dying instantly.

I couldn't agree more, Lowry. Knowing that your death is imminent is probably the worst thing a human being could face.

Yeah, but it's only 8 minutes, and the first couple you have to think everything's gonna be alright. And I'd think the shared experience with the other passengers might be helpful on some level (even if not on others).

Idk, I'd think that you could be looking out the window and kinda get a picture of what's going on. Supposedly the pilot was trying to take an ax to the door. As that's happening and you're seeing the mountains surround you, you can probably get a picture of what's about to happen. Unless it was a night flight, egg on me. But still the ax thing would keep me in the freak out zone.
