Anytime there is a bunch of pro sports discussions not involving a CoP team and then some CoP'er ultimately brings it back to the CoP because they don't know anything outside of their bubble.

Too few TQ threads
Not being able to discuss basketball

As a frequent reader, I was looking forward to the pornog discussion....just sayin

not really a peeve, but its interesting to me that CODBers are guilty of almost all the same things they accuse COPers of doing.

i guess the trickle down greatness and sophistication of the .1% of CODBers that make NY what it is provides a shield for all the middling DBs that are very similar to their COP counterparts...

I think the people who do what CoP 4 for 4'ers do mostly reside in Long Island, North Jersey, and small pockets of the boroughs like Howard Beach. Kinda hard to have a majorly sports fanatic population when most of the residents in NYC are either not born in NY, too rich to be caught dead in a Mets hat, international imports with no sports talk participation, or bad tippers who prefer to gossip about who got arrested last week rather than break down the Knicks.

Not even trying to be hateful with that last one - they just typically have more pressing matters to attend to than caring about Gabe York

My biggest pet peeve is people selling their season tickets at "face value"

Are we talking "face value" that includes just the actual face value printed on the ticket and allocated seat license. Or "face value" that also includes amortized family tuition expense, parking and mileage for the games that they do retain, postage, an allocation of their cable bill now that they won't be watching those games live, etc.

No, we are talking about someone adding their mandatory season ticket school donation to their asking price for season tickets posted on this message board. And no, I'm not an "alt".
