Defense wins championships even in the era of spread no huddle offenses. The offense has the best player in the land, but has some pot holes.
I feel for the kid kicking. Need snaps to be better too. You need a kicking game when you are relying on playing close to the vest games.
The Cats will be fine. I see them as a top 10 team, but closer to 10 than 2/3 at the moment.
On to Delaware and Parents Weekend matchup!! Should be a great crowd.

Rather boring game.....partly attributable to the weather. Fordham beating Army says how bad the Cadets are. Don't think the Cats can tell how good they will be based on the first two games. Although the stats were in Nova's favor, don't think we can say that was a sound defeat of an average team.
Fordham will be a playoff team with a record of 10 - 1.
UConn beat Army yesterday.
I don't think the game was boring. Just watching a super Villanova defensive effort was not boring.
Watching junior Javon White rush for 143 yds was not boring. Watching the excellent game of JR,seeing him pass for a TD and rush for a TD for the sec0nd game in a row was not boring. Just watching these kids, from both teams, handle the really bad weather was fun.
The game was exciting but the weather was horrible.. I attended and at times I was afraid that it would really start storming and the game would not finish. It was awful out there. It was really a thunderstorm without the thundering and lightning.. Severe raining as the game continued.
Brian Westbrook was sitting by us so I was stoked. Nice guy.
Our defense was incredible and finding out our offense had secret weapons made my day. I can just imagine how they will play when it's not slippery. I see a lot of promise!
