Cats lose comeback battle 56-53

Down nine in the second half with multiple Marquette over the back rebounds that weren't called and with us having an atypical number of TOs we took a two point lead late in the game but couldn't hold it on more tough boards by the much bigger Marquettians. Caroline Coyer was Harry's go to girl down the stretch which worked until one of her shots was blocked. We still could have come back except for losing some tough boards at the end.

In the last 1:06 of the game, after Villanova had a one point lead, Marquette outrebounded Villanova 7-0 and won by 3.
