Cell Phone

For reasons unknown, my dad's cell phone died. Its a work issued phone, so I assume that is keeping him from getting a new one right away. My mum and dad are leaving for vacation on sunday, and my dad asked if he could borrow my phone for the week.

I hate to so say it but there is no way I can go that long without my phone. I'm not attached to it, I'm not important, and I don't exchange valuable information on it very often. Regardless, I just can't see myself being surviving a week without a phone. So I suggested to my dad that he just buys a tracfone for the trip.

b.) am I a bad person for not being able to give up my phone
c.) what kind of jagoff has a phone that dies and can't get another one right away

i think its pretty bizarre to ask someone if you can use their phone for a week.

whether or not you use it for anything personal, important, private, etc a phone is a personal thing. its like (dudes) asking if they can borrow shoes, or something like that.
