Chris FitzSimons at USA Junior Nationals

Chris FitzSimons -- third last year in the 800 at USA Juniors, and one of the favorites this year -- DNF'd with an injury in his preliminary heat. Preliminary diagnosis points to a hernia. Too bad, since the two guys who beat him last year (Cas Loxsom (Penn State) and Robby Andrews (Virginia)) were no longer eligible for Juniors.

i was watching.. i knew it was a hernia or a groin tear when i saw it. it was horrible to watch. i'm just glad it's a hernia compared to something more serious.
