Cliff Lee Trade revisited

Mindboggling. He has been an absolute gas can in multiple tours of duty as a reliever and has been optioned to the minors numerous times.

aumont was outrighted after this spring. No interest from anyone else. Saw a couple weeks ago that he was doing well as a started. My guess is he'll return and be a deer in the headlights again. But I guess this is what passes for hope these days. Victorino was once made available to anyone (pre-season 2007 I think) before being optioned to Scranton and not picked up, so sometimes maybe that lights a fire under a guy.

Btw, even hearing that trade brought up makes me feel ill. Terrible way to grab clicks for a Phils fan.

Lot of guys in that '05 Scranton roster showed biiig power gains - Victorino, Ruiz, Howard, Coste. Must have been a really good strength and conditioning staff that year...

Aumont has always had a filthy arsenal of pitches but Rick Vaughn control issues. I find it hard to believe he's now suddenly able to not walk the entire ballpark. Doing it in the minors is one thing. Who cares about that. Let's see it against the big boys. Something tells me he will revert to a basketcase on the mound again when opposing real live hitters with the bright lights on.
