Delco Proper

It's like this thread has become Kittlesfan's dissertation on the history of Delco. Is this the same Kittlesfan who hired a private dick to trail his cheating spouse?

Same person but very touchy subject. You brought it up and now he's gone. We'll never get to know the motivation behind cargo shorts and lacrosse sticks now.

man drinking in the woods was HUGE in Delco growing up. im guilty of doing that. my biggest regret was wasting so much time doing stuff like that and not studying more or improving my baseball/basketball game.

Overbrook was mixed but segregated by block. Irish were on Malvern St around 58th-61st, Jewish was up the block towards Bala, the Blacks were the upper crust of the black community in Philly. if you were successful and black OB is where you lived. my mother was on 60th and Malvern? maybe 59th. Lordes parrish. was very nice. in the 80s after crack took over someone tried to rob my grandmoms house after my grandfather died. thank goodness she had a giant dog. those people hate dogs. she moved a week later. and there they say goes the neighborhood.

Damn! I want to hear that story. All remember is that he asked about finding out who a cell number is connected to via reverse look-up. Then nothing.
