Here is one example of lack of support for the FB program from the administration. What a great opportunity at the hoop game yesterday to show some highlights of the FB season on the big screen along with Walter Payton finalist John Robinson blah blah blah, and encourage people to come to the game. But, there was nothing. Would it have made a big difference in attendance? No, but it is a microcosm of the last thirty years. The program is merely tolerated.

prospect: Well said! Not sure, if it had been done and done well, that it might have enticed some people to get to the game and support a really exciting player and team. Someone posted on the Basketball board Liberty has already sold their 1,500 ticket allotment. Loads of their students coming by bus. Hopefully it doesn't look and sound like a Liberty home game. Would be nice for the Nova students to turn out and support their team.

How can you say the program is "merely tolerated"? The program has received over $50 mill in financial support over the past decade despite there being minimal student or alumni interest and zero public relations benefit. That is much more than "merely tolerated."

Restoring football and having Howie Long on Fox are what kept Big Time Basketball alive here, bro.

What does howie long have to do with Paul tagliabu hooking up the sweet fox sports deal? You don't think fox committed half a billion dollars into a venture because one of their football pre-game analysts asked them to, do you? Of course not.

The big east basketball conference earned that contract with fox sports due to its gr8 tradition, metropolitan locations, fan bases, and brand recognition. Howie Long, who is a gr8 villanovan, did not negotiate that contract. But go ahead and tell yourself that if it makes you feel like we actually get something out of this money pit football joke of a program.

Howie is a great spokesperson for vu and have you heard BWest, just outstanding big time
