That on my 1st drive to work Wednsday after I got back from Houston there was barely any sports talk radio talking about Nova. And since then I have literally heard 1 caller, today driving home, mention the team. I get the Flyers talk given the playoffs and now Mr. Snider but for weeks I have heard the same ole Eagles talk. QB or not QB, Which QB, Stanley, Elliott etc...could you imagine if the Eagles won the Super Bowl, we would talk about it for months. We would rehash the game, the team, the team next year etc... Much like us die hards are doing with Nova. My point is do this many people not care about the fact that Nova/Philly won a national championship in a big time sport. I mean what am I missing on this. Take being a grad out of it, I would just think that the Homer sports fan in general would be a little more PSYCHED about what just took place, especially in this blue collar, effort and heart matters of a city. Did no one see the grit, heart and shear hard work that our team displayed. Again, I'm just confused. I must be missing something here.
