Jared from Subway

The only thing worse than Subway is probably McDonalds. I would literally rather eat at the Costco food court. And that food sucks.

Love a good Alidoro, go early.

I guess we need a ruling here...is a shirt with corporate logo, vest, smock, or apron a uniform?

How did the fact that Jared ran a porn rental business from his college apt never come to light before this? What a shtbag

If an employee is required to wear any of those things by their employer then I would say they are definitely an uniform-what else could they be considered?

Those people you see handing out demos aren't employed by Costco. Costco outsources the service to an outside vendor who in turn hires and pays those employees. They require them to wear those outfits. Costco doesn't. Those tire shop guys you see wearing durable Dickie's-like clothing wear them under safety guidelines from the Health Dept. Go to any tire center in America and you will see the installers wearing something similar.

The people who wear vests work in 3 depts of the store. 3 out of about 13. The door. Electronics. And front end supervisors. They are worn to stand out to members for varying reasons. 90% of the Costco staff doesn't wear a "uniform". We only require them to wear a damn collared shirt. And clean non-athletic wear pants without holes. They can even wear shorts. The dress code couldn't be any more lax. If they are corny enough to want to wear a shirt that says "Costco" on it, that's on them. It's certainly not required. They could even wear a god damn Reggie White jersey to work if they wanted...as long as a collar is visible underneath.

I'll still never forgive you for killing the BW tournament.

Do they have to wear a nametag with a Costco logo on it on top of the Reggie White jersey?

The only people that wear uniforms at Costco are the auto people, the greeters, the cashiers, the bakery staff and the food service workers. The other 5 employees do not. So they basically have no uniform policy.

Conestoga HS jokes are off limits.

That's beyond the pale, even for this newsgroup
