John Robertson is destroying the Villanova record book with totals no one could have foreseen. After todays game he has passed for 62 TDs and run for 43 for total of 105. Immortal VU running back Brian Westbrook ran for 54 and caught 35 for his 89 TD total. QB Chris Boden passed for 99 TDs. He didn't run much but probably scored a few on the ground. Never thought any one would reach these totals and JR should have another season to put these TD marks completely out of sight.

i don't recall, who was Finnerans QB? Chris B?

How does the receiving group compare JR to CB?

Awesome numbers, unbelievable. and a yr to go! Thanks Tom

No Brian Finneran in this group of receivers. Brian was special. Not putting this group down but BF was great at Villanova and had a very good, long pro career.

Robertson is doing this with no other superstars. His line, receivers and backs are all good solid blue collar types. But there is no Big Ben Ijalana on the line, no Westbrook in the backfield and no receivers that come close to Finneran/Szczur or Brian Harvey for that matter.

Brian Finneran's quarterback was Chris Boden his Senior year and Chris was really good and he also had Clint Park his junior year who was good as well.

Chris Boden had Finneran brothers as receivers for one great season and an incomparable receiver in Brian Westbrook for two. No one ever threw to greater Nova receivers in their career. California kid Boden put up his great numbers in 3 seasons 1997-99. He played little as a frosh. JR should have 4.

I like the current receivers but the 2 Finnerans and Bwest WOW

Gordon had a great throwing career. Any special receivers for him?

Tom

Josh Dolbin often gets overlooked, but he was a hell of a receiver along with the Finnerans.
