As Nova Nation celebrates a third trip to the Final Four in the last six years, one eye is being kept on Justin Moore, who went down with an injury late in the Wildcats' Elite 8 win over Houston. It didn't look good at the time, and there wasn't a whole lot of encouragement in the postgame press conference.
"X-ray was fine, no broken bones," Jay Wright said. "Probably not good for Justin. We're going to get an MRI when we get back. Probably not good."
The fear is an Achilles tear, and while we'll hold out hope until receiving official word, all signs point to a worst case scenario.
We'll have updates as they become available, and if the fears are confirmed we'll dig into the impact. But for now, do your best to enjoy another incredible achievement by the program.
