Kenpom has released a new Tier rating system for identifying key games that is a direct shot at the RPI's basic formula of counting Top 50 RPI wins and Top 100 RPI wins. He wrote an article to explain it but the TLDR; version is that he adjusts an opponents Kenpom rating based on where the game is played ... home games adjust down, neutral get no adjustment, away get a boost. In real terms that means playing a team ranked 80th at home would maybe push that out of the top 100 win, a neutral court would keep the team at 80th and an away game would bump the team up to potentially a top 50 equivalent.

He has two tiers -- A and B. From our results:

1-0 in Tier B games (GA Tech/Neutral Court)
4-2 in Tier A games (Losses: OK/Neutral, VA/Away Wins: St Joes/Away, Xavier/Home, Crieghton/Away, Butler/Away)
