Last November I bet an Arsenal fan $5 straight up that Leicester would win the Premier League. Worst $5 I ever won, he paid me about 15 minutes ago.

Side Note, I also bet him $5 straight up that Leicester would beat Arsenal. Arsenal beat Leicester in the 95th minute in their game so I'm even on the year.

Leicester had a perfect template team to win it this year - two great playmakers (Vardy, Mahrez), two stout central defenders (Huth, Morgan), and a dead ball / crossing specialist (Fuchs). Role players all over the place (Drinkwater, Albrighton, Ulloa, Okazaki).

Plus no Europa league or Champions League involvement kept them fresh (that changes next year).

They're the first team oustide of the traditional English powers to win since 1995 (Blackburn Rovers) and the first to finish top-4 since 2001 (Leeds United).
