The rumors have been floating around for years.
During a South Carolina Tea Party rally this spring, one speaker created an uproar by postulating that Graham supported a guest-worker program out of fear that the Democrats might otherwise expose his homosexuality. (Graham smirked when I brought this up. “Like maybe I’m having a clandestine affair with Ricky Martin,” he said. “I know it’s really gonna upset a lot of gay men — I’m sure hundreds of ‘em are gonna be jumping off the Golden Gate Bridge — but I ain’t available. I ain’t gay. Sorry.”

Long article from philly.com last year indicated Chip has a girlfriend, but values his privacy. While wouldn't be shocking if that was a cover, based on his personnel moves and temperament have to think he might tire of having the same lady around saying $hit that bothers him. And now that he's making some bank (after spending about 10 years coaching at New Hampshire of all places), maybe he's not that interested in someone getting half if he realizes it was the wrong move.

I remember that Philly.com article on Kelly. It mentioned a mysterious George Glass "girlfriend", and also a previous marital engagement that faded away without explanation.
He ought to come out as gay and further state that he chooses to not act on his urges in accordance with God's will.
Might get him some votes....
Guys, just go with this on both Graham and Chipper. It's like not believing your doctor when he tells you you have high blood pressure.
If he is gay (which nobody knows) I agree with you kjbert. I had a personal experience with his staff when I lived in Anderson, SC. It's the only time in my life when I asked for help from a government official and actually got it.
I lived in Anderson, SC at the time, Liz. A developer put a new road in behind my house and every time it rained my yard flooded. I got nowhere with the local government because the developer was in with the townies. So, I called Graham's office and explained it to them. About a week later, Graham's office called back to see if it was fixed. While I was on the phone, the developer pulled up behind my house with a crane and some cement storm drain pipes and he fixed the problem. I've called government officials lots of times. They work for us we have a right to demand their help!
