If the Cats take care of business these next two weeks and finish 10-2 they should be seeded in top 8 which gets them a bye in Week One of the playoffs and then one home game, hopefully two, which takes them to the Semifinals before they may have to leave the Mainline. That home field advantage was huge in 2009 - just ask New Hampshire and William & Mary.

Seeds 5-8 are guaranteed only 1 home playoff game. To be awarded 2 home games, Cats have to win out and hope for help to regain top 4 seed. Unlikely, as none of the top 5 seeds face a do or die game except maybe UNH @ improving Maine. And none face a more traditional rival than VU does in UD.

Assuming Cats win out but don't get help to move up, possible home opponents for Dec. 6th include, but are not limited to McNeese, YSU & Richmond, against all of whom Cats have a score to settle. I'd hope for fair weather v. YSU or Richmond, and foul weather v. McNeese.
