I wouldn't read into the distance results that much. Most of it has to do with how quickly a person can get acclimated to 5000 feet. The only person Villanova has who is used to running at altitude is Dusty Solis.

Also, McEntee got the stick knocked out of his hand with a few laps to go. He was on his way to one of the fastest anchors.

TFE, apparently you saw the race. Could you describe it? How did Fitzsimons look?

I thought VU men's DMR was a lot better than the time and was surprised by the results.
