its not really that big of a deal. all it means is he cuts the players from training camp.

The Giants were a top 5 job before Jerry Reese became GM.
Also, I think the Steelers are probably a Top-5 job. I would put the Cowboys and Texans up there. Maybe Green Bay rounds out the Top 5.

Doug Marrone and Giants starting QB Ryan Nassib have a history of making mediocre bowl games together...
They are one of the most valuable NFL franchises from a $ standpoint (7th most valuable @ 2.5B). Also, have a lot of owner and community support (oil $). They have been largely successful since their new inception, making playoffs in 3 of the last 6 years and at least .500 record in 7 of 14 seasons.

You told us the 49ers are a great opening? They have neither of those two things you listed.
The niners have loads of draft picks and cap space.Their GM has gotten it done for a while. He managed the cap exceptionally well. They had one down year after their coach left. Hire the right guy and they'll be right back contending again in no time. Even with a 5-11 record this year the Niners have won 49 games over the past 5 years. They have been consistent. That's a better job today than the Giants.
Peter King on the Giants HC job. He says it won't happen he'd like to see Chipper in NY. The exert, "I don’t like the chances of this happening. At all.
