Patriots offensive line looking real, real sweet right now.

I'll go Steelers out of the AFC. Against Arizona.

you mean Brady can't do it all himself?! who woulda thunk it.

Cardinals are the best team in the NFL. if Dalton returns, I will go Cardinals-Bengals in the Super Bowl

It was obvious from the first quarter today NE wasn't generating enough points without turnovers or defensive scores.

Brady has about .87 seconds to throw right now.

Pats are hurting. They have never had an easier path to the 1 seed than this yr, just had to beat either the Eagles, jets or Dolphins. Those are three bad losses to end the season.

Patriots are not a good team right now. Even in a crap AFC I'll be surprised if they make it out of there alive.

Steeler fans everywhere had faith in the Jets. Live to fight another week.

All signs point to DeAngelo Williams being ready to go next week, which is critical for the Steelers.

Abhorrent article in the Globe. Has this d*ckhead even seen the Patriots play in the last month? The insinuation that they didnt care about winning the game that would earn them homefield advantage is preposterous. They look bad because the offensive line is a MASH unit, and Brady is missing his 2nd and 3rd best receiving options (Edelman and Lewis), and the 4th and 5th best options are also hurt (one didnt play, the other played at half speed). They have Steven f'n Jackson running the ball behind Peter, Bob, Dick and Carlos who also cant pass protect, but what really happened is they didnt even try to win. Great article, Danno.

Makes no sense they would just have rested players if that was the case. You're right, they're very mediocre right now. And the Stillers that everyone seems to like now just lost to the crappy Ravens and basically beat the worst team in the league based on turnovers. I would have said the NJJ looked the best right now in the AFC had they not pant-crapped there way right out of the playoffs.

Not feeling any love for Cam and the Panthers........

Cam is one of my favorite players, but they did not really beat anyone this year...the win @SEA was nice but other than that, meh. I don't know if their offense will be able to score points through the air when the time matters against a team like Arizona

Seattle has quietly had a good season, losing games against pretty good teams (besides 2 losses to the Rams).

Seattle gets it done over the Steelers in a rematch of the 2006 (?) Superbowl.

Green Bay has really come back to the pack. (See what I did there). They are pick em vs Washington. And Seattle -5 seems too easy to me.

Green Bay's line is awful. Rodgers is getting killed and the loss of Nelson has been huge. Lots of bad football, should be interesting to see how it plays out.

Green Bay's WRs cannot beat man coverage. Shows you how important Jordy Nelson was to them

they also have gone away from the bunch-sets which they were successful with previously for whatever reason

Updated lines

SEA -4.5 @ MIN
KC -3.0 @ HOU
PIT -2.5 @ CIN
GB -1.0 @ WAS

All four road teams are favorites.

So basically the Steeler fans shouldn't watch Saturday night. Thanks for F'ing nothing.

Dont fret. Go watch one of those other teams you've adopted from 6 other states instead. Have at it, cuzzo.

Steelers/Bengals haven't met in the playoffs since the 2005 season wildcard game - Carson Palmer left injured after completing 1 pass for 66 yards and the Steelers won 31-17 en route to a Super Bowl victory over Seattle.

There have been 20 regular meetings since, with Pittsburgh winning 14 of those.

If only I ever lived in Pittsburgh it would make more sense to be a steeler fan.

Dude has 6 different teams from 6 different states.

exit 298 of the PA turnpike is probably farthest west that glendog has ever been, so it makes sense that he didn't realize that the Commonwealth extended beyond berks county.

Why the Nats and not the Phillies?
Why the Sixers and not the Wizards? (tho I question the accuracy of how much of a Sixer fan you are)
Why the Steelers and not the Eagles?
Why the Pens and not the Flyers?

How exactly does one come to decide? Convenience?

I could explain 1,3, and 4 very easily.

Andrew Toney and Doctor J, always loved the Sixers
I lived next door to the owner of the Steelers, his grandson is one of my best friends, his daughter used to give me cookies and I spend countless days in their home. I was born in 75 and grew up around the Steelers. They are religion in Pittsburgh and my house specifically.
I'm from Pittsburgh, I hate the Flyers.

What kind of cookies tho? If they were these I probably could've been brainwashed as well...

Missed one, never gave the phillies a thought. I'm a Nats season ticket holder and have been for 5 years so I guess that's why I prefer them over the Phillies. My fandom started when my oldest son go older. My kids love the Nats probably because one of my best friend (they call him uncle) spoils them with great seats, takes them to BP, in the clubhouse and pretty much converted them until I became a Nats fan. He used my kids and it worked. Oh, and I live in Washington now.

Toney and Doc? Bruh, you were like f*cking 6 when they were in their prime. Alot of Sixer talk around the 1st grade water cooler?

You asked how I became a Sixer fan. Unless you missed it, Pittsburgh didn't have a team. I started following sports when I was very young and it was basically the Sixers, Celtics and Lakers on TV. However, given the past 30 years I really screwed that one up but what can you do. I'm a Sixer fan. I loved Andrew Toney. The Boston Strangler, he was the man.
