NFL Playoffs Thread

Agree. However, my favorite is how they never consider a person can live in more than one city in their life. You mean people actually move, really? They don't just stay in place forever. An entire world is out there?

I believe per the Burrs' rulebook you are allowed to move, but you must either adopt the new teams immediately or never. You would still be an offender because you do not have a permissible basis under the fandom rules for having been a Boston fan, but if you had been a Pirates fan and made an immediate flip from the Pirates to Nats I believe Burrs would allow it. I'm interpreting what I've read over the years on here; I do not have an official copy of Burrs on Fandom, so I could be off.

It's a shame that the Feds got to Burrs. He would put this to bed right away. I don't think he was shocked that people moved from one city to another so long as it was an adjacent county, Wildwood or the town in Arizona/Florida where your favorite team holds spring training.

Dan, I think that's right. Either way, I'm an offender and I have to live with that fact. Have a good weekend to all and Go Steelers. Although we know the outcomes has been predetermined.

And what are they?

Just tweet him, dude sits there and tweets like a motherf*cker.

Lmao. What is his Twitter? Any of you guys even on that?

The "uncle" who takes another man's sons to baseball games and into the clubhouse fits the profile of a Sandusky.

Just a word of warning.

the whole Marshawn Lynch thing is hilarious to me

Carroll hyping him up all week, he practices, then decides Friday he isn't going to travel with the team

I'm there as well and I'll be sure to keep a look out. Thanks for the heads up.

"Happens everywhere". As Ben gets cheered for being injured, then gets pelted with debris as he goes to locker room on cart. Cincy is earning it's stripes as a fandom tonight.

Burfict and Pacman with the cherry on top. As if you would expect anything less from those 2 Rhodes scholars considering their reputations.

Watch it again the pittsburgh coach was on the field for the second personal foul call was really ridiculous. It got out of control on the headshot by pittsburgh that went uncalled.

Joey Porter being on the field is what incited a lot more to what was going on. It's hard for these old men to controlled these roided up animals in the heat of the moment sometimes. Refs are constantly deciding these games. Why break precedent?

A bad loss, one of the worst you'll ever see as far as imploding, choking, etc.

Look at the guys who cost rhem, 55 and 24, two of the biggest knuckleheads in football.

Does Marvin Lewis lose his job? The guy still hasn't won a playoff game.

Those personal foul calls ruined that game for the fans. The second one was a bad call. How can the refs ignore the fact that Joey Porter the coach was on the field inciting the players. Just horrible but the reality is the fumble lost the game. Pittsburg was extremely fortunate. One of the luckier wins I have seen in my lifetime.

If they are supposed to call a personal foul on the shazier play, why even bother playing football anymore. Sure in slow motion you could probably argue that it was a foul, but when a receiver in the flat catches the ball and turns up field and gets tackled, its much different than launching at a quarterback while throwing or demolishing a receiver over the middle. Not to mention Shazier is 6'1'' and Bernard is 5'9'', so the high hit isn't as egregious. Also on "fumble" plays now a days, I dont get why they dont just let them develop before blowing the whistle.

There was nothing wrong with the hit on Roethlisberger.

The fact that the sideline reporter even pointed out burfict (or whatever his name is) for having a hot head on the sideline made it even more ridiculous.

If two people dancing in the endzone after a fumble return that is ultimately called back is still called unsportsmanlike conduct, why isnt half the team running off the field unsportsmanlike conduct?

he's a rapist who deserves having projectiles hurled at him more than the first-name treatment he receives

extremely good player though. probably underrated. i'd rather have him in his prime than peyton manning in his

he's a rapist

"According to Officer Jason Lopez, the woman told him that the alleged rape occurred as she was seated on the toilet in the bathroom, that the athlete did not use a condom and she did not know whether he ejaculated."

Blumpkin at worst

I was watching that game thinking the same thing. What % of football players are not on steroids? 10% to 15% is my best guess.

Why the Nats and not the Phillies?
Why the Sixers and not the Wizards? (tho I question the accuracy of how much of a Sixer fan you are)
Why the Steelers and not the Eagles?
Why the Pens and not the Flyers?

How exactly does one come to decide? Convenience?

I think I can answer that
He prefers the pitt teams over the philly teams, so that's why penguins and steelers over the flyers or eagles
The only PA hoops team is his choice
And he lives in DC and has season tickets to the Nats, so that's who he roots for as that is the team he follows.

Seems to make sense.

Lets get these NFC East and AFC South teams together so we can figure out who the worst division in NFL history was this year.
