After a bit of a sleepy, uninspired performance yesterday, today the Cats came out energized and focused and looked like the team we all expect them to be in a 96-77 win over Wake Forest.

Hart led the way with a career-high 30 points on 11-14 shooting and 6-8 from three to go along with 4 rebounds, 2 assists and 3 steals. Bridges had 19, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 blocks and showed an ability to play off the dribble and get to the rim. 16 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists from Jenkins on 5-8 and 3-6 from three. Brunson added 11 points and 6 assists including a thunderous dunk and continued his overall steady play. DiVincenzo was the 5th Wildcat in double-figures with 12 on 4-6 and 3-5 from three and 4 rebounds.

Nova shot 56.7% from the field and 51.6% from three. They won the rebounding battle 34-24.

All-in-all an excellent performance. The offense was running efficiently and was generating a ton of open looks. There were a few lapses defensively, but overall was solid and the energy was much better. I think it's safe to say yesterday was the result of some combination of the start time, the neutral court, and maybe the opponent. Cats get the winner of UCF-College of Charleston on Sunday night, where they will look to take the championship in an in-season tournament for the fourth straight year.

Final note: Booth didn't play due to "knee tendonitis."
