Darn near the entire Pitt team returns. They are very big. Navy had like 32 seniors to Pitt's ten and it looked to me only two Pitt seniors were impact players. Some really great young players. Will be a hard, tough game for our guys. Without a doubt they will be the very best FBS team our Cats have played. Pitt finished 8-5 this season, but will be much better next season.
After watching the game I can full you in some more about Pitt but that must wait until I have some more time.
Thanks Ed! That was an unusually good Navy squad, certainly a Top 20 team when the final rankings are announced. I caught the last 20 minutes of the game, tuning in just after Pitt trimmed Navy's lead to 31-14. From that point on it was a back and forth contest, with Navy controlling the ball but also allowing Pitt to score quickly on big plays. Pitt program appears to be on the uptick. We had our chance to collect a Power 5 scalp at Syracuse in 2014. Coulda, woulda, shoulda.
