VILLANOVA, Pa. – The men’s basketball game slated for Saturday at Wells Fargo Center featuring No. 16 Providence and No. 4 Villanova has been re-scheduled as a result of the major winter storm forecast for the Eastern seaboard. The game will now be played Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m. at the Center.

The game will air nationally on Fox.

A state of emergency was declared in Pennsylvania for Saturday earlier today ahead of a storm that is expected to bring 12-18 inches of snow and the potential for blizzard conditions to the area beginning Friday evening.

All tickets purchased for this game will be honored on Sunday. A limited supply of tickets for this game remain available through comcasttix.com.

The “Breakfast with the Cats” pre-game event originally slated for 9:30 a.m. Saturday has been postponed. Look for details on a special pre-game event at Xfinity Live when Villanova returns to the Wells Fargo Center to meet St. John’s on Feb. 13.
