Ed how could the French have pissed you off in WW 1? They fought bravely in a completely stupid war and lost over 1 million men. Most historians believe they didn't want to do it again in WW 2 which is understandable. Many Europeans believed US delayed entry in both wars was for economic gain.

The USA bailed out France twice in the 1900s. France may have fought bravely but did not fight well. How many American troops were killed by French forces in WW 2 in North Africa? BTW Congrats to the Army football team for running onto the field yesterday carrying the French flag.
