Pearl River NY's Kieran Brennan Commits to Villanova T&F

Pearl River, NY's Kieran Brennan has committed to run for Villanova, according to DyeStat/ESPN. Brennan was 6th in the 800 meters (1:52.95 PR) at the New Balance Indoor Nationals earlier this month. During the just completed 2012 indoor season, Brennan owned the USA #8 time over 800 meters (the aforementioned 1:52.95), and the USA #11 time (2:28.80) in the 1000 meters.

This is a promising sign by VU. Brennan appears to be a "blossoming" runner - i.e., there is potential as oppossed to an interesting past. Believe this might be the first year he has taken track seriously. Early on was a lacrosse player. Outdoor season will tell whether there is a future at 800 - at least as a member of a 4x800.
