A Villanova transfer target is reciprocating interest, as Penn transfer Tyler Perkins is expected to visit Nova April 11-13.

Perkins, a 6-4 guard, is a Virginia native who went to high school in Maryland before playing his freshman season at Penn. He averaged 13.7 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.9 assists while shooting 39.1% overall and 34.7% from three. He also averaged 1.4 steals. He fared reasonably well against Penn's toughest competition...of course Nova fans remember he scored 22 points in Penn's upset win over the Wildcats...he also scored 15 against Kentucky and 10 on the road against Houston's stingy defense, a game in which Penn only scored 42 points as a team.

With so much uncertainty about who is staying or leaving or coming, it's hard to project ideal fits. But of the players who have received interest from Nova so far, Perkins would be among the top group I would be interested in. Something to keep an eye on as we head into the offseason.
