Interested to hear the thoughts of the board.

Given the current war Islam is waging on planet earth, which of these places would you NOT feel comfortable visiting within the next two months?

Cambodia
Philippines
Kuala Lumpur
Bali
Singapore

I would go to all of those places except Cambodia, even though I'm pretty sure islamo-fascism doesn't have more to do with these places than any other place.

Cambodia? Eh. I heard that place looks like Kansas.

would go to all. Judging on my September trip to Thailand on the ole honeymoon, you will be completely fine. They may be slightly more islamic than Thailand overall, but I don't see any reason to fear radicalism in any of those places.

Bali is off the charts beautiful! Very friendly natives. A hot spot for Australian tourists.

In Cambodia now. No terrorists from what i can tell. But i would equate Phnom Penh to Johannesburg in "District 9."

Which was a great movie, btw.

Poverty over there is on a different scale. It's insane to see. I think at one point walking around one of the night markets in Thailand my watch alone gave me more wealth to my name than the rest of the market's attendees combined.

What was the RickBBMW quote about Seton Hall fans? Probably the 3rd best thing ever posted here (#1: "I won't miss them.", #1: yellowcat grading tjc as an "F")
I think I remember something about a jalopy spewing oil all over Lancaster Ave?

Cambodia is insane. Their gdp is less than 1% of ours, yet they use US currency. I had a tour guide explain that it was because the US injected $3 billion USD of aid into the country, so it became the preferred currency. And he kept emphasizing "BILLION," like it was a big number. Im like, "there are a few hundred people in the US worth more than your entire currency market."

I didn't say that.

Southeast Asia is pretty amazing overall. To say it's another world doesn't do the difference justice.
