Replace "Trump University" with "St. Joe's PA" and it would have been perfect.

Brokered convention time?

"Donald Trump has an extraordinary ability to understand economy and create jobs. I’m not as successful as this guy." - Mitt Romney, 2012

his response is going to fantastic. the greatest response of all responses, the mar a lago of responses.

Listening to Trumo now. He just said 4 years ago Romney was begging me for an endorsement so badly I could have told him to get on his knees and he would have done it. Classic stuff!

Easy to find, the audio of Romney praising Trump 4 years ago was being played all day on the radio

Shame he was a stiff during the debates against Barry.
Romney was the establishment's choice 2x in a row. That was a real successful endeavor! The establishment's failure to listen to their constituents created Trump's run.

This is only going to help trumo and make Romley sound desperate. Every time an establishment guy comes out against trumo it only increases his popularity. Trumo is steamrolling these dudes down.

The election is going to come down to:

Same old s*
F' it

Don't underestimate the urge of a the common voting moron to pull the F' it lever.

So much winning today in the mitt rebuttal. Apple, Ford, Carrier all will manufacture 100% of their products in the US because trumo says so. fair market.... Not free market. Tariffs rule. laissez faire bon temps rouler caveat emptor or something like that.

Romley should post about cheese steak and LCD because the man from Massachusetts is looking more like Boston College these days. Game over.

I don't know why the GOP agrees to these debates. Has anything good come from them? I feel like more liberals watch just to poke fun at what is going on than Republican voters. It was very entertaining for a little bit, especially when Trump ensured that despite having small hands he is still very well endowed. I also enjoyed when he started calling Rubio Little Marco.

But overall that was a disaster, just like all the other debates. Except for the networks of course. They must be reeling in the money.

Last night was a hit job by Fox on Trump. A wildly entertaining hit job, but a hit job. It's a shame Kasich is effectively out, because he actually seems like a reasonable candidate, but any rally from him is coming from Rubio & Cruz, so it's a wash for stopping Trump.

Kasich made a great point last night about how he didn't get much air time in the past. He just has not been memorable enough for the average voter. He has always come off as the most sane (for lack of a better term), I agree. I just don't know if he has any chance, the numbers are not in his favor.

That's about right. It is surreal to me that Trump is going to get the nomination. I will not vote for Hillary under any circumstances. I may not be able to vote against her either.

Oh, absolutely. I would never for Hillary under any circumstances. If it comes down to Trump vs Hillary I would have to research some of the 3rd party candidates, but that is just a wasted vote (essentially a vote for Hillary). In the end I would most likely have no choice but to vote for Trump. Similar to the last PA Gubernatorial election when I had to vote for that jackass Corbett.

I am honestly starting to get concerned about Congress now. If Trump is the nominee and some registered Republicans decide not to vote it may really put them in danger of losing control of Senate. The House should be safe though.

I don't give a crap if my president is memorable. I want him to have sane policy positions. What was memorable about Bush or Romney or Obama or Kerry? Just bland "toeing the party line" crap.

No I agree with you, but we are in the minorty of people who try and follow politics. You need the votes of average Americans to win, and I just don't think he has done enough to do that. It's the same thing that happened to Jeb Bush. Say what you want about him but he had the best credentials and ideology of all the candidates to be President. not to mention the backing of the establishment and the biggest and most well funded campaign. But what happened? He had no charisma at all and his campaign floundered.

That is the scariest thing in all of this. It sort of started with Obama, and has definitely expanded with Trump. It is becoming a damn popularity contest. What is next? Kim Kardashian running for office?

Shut I'd down. Romney is a loser like Boston College

Ball, would it be fair to change the title of the thread on the other board to, BC Triple shutout seasons to include Romney? Just wondering...

Joe Biden is probably kicking himself. I think he would have been an excellent candidate. Someone who has been in Congress and brokered a lot of deals.

And the country is all Bushed out.

Kasich rambles, goes over time every time and rarely answers questions. He'd be a great VP pick. I know he's pining for Ohio on 3/15, but needs to drop out asap. Would have a chance in the general but there's no way he makes it.

While Cruz is probably too extreme to be elected, he is very effective in the debates. Liked how he emphasized "do you really want to be hearing about Trump University" stuff in the general.

There is just too much dirt on Trump for him to win the general. With all of Hillary's skeletons, can't have someone who appears just as dirty in a lot of ways, or worse.

Rubio remains the clearest and maybe the only path to victory. But not looking good.

The just gave the guy who installed the server immunity. Read they will present to DOJ now in May. Looks like HRC might be coming in next week? May 15 over/under on someone being indicted.

I get why people say this, but voting for someone i don't believe in or agree with simply because of their party affiliation is a wasted vote in my book. Voting for someone I think would do a good job and has a platform largely aligned with my pov is not a wasted vote regardless of party affiliation.

At the end of the day, if he's the nominee I'd vote for Trump because there are still more things I'd agree with him on than Clinton. I don't know if I can trust Trump to make the right calls, but pretty sure I can't trust Hillary to do that either. Her foreign policy decisions have been a disaster, not to mention her stated positions on domestic issues that are just more Obama.

That said, the fact that this thought process is necessary is yet another reason Trump has no shot in the general. Never needed to think through that to vote for a Republican before.

Republicans not voting or voting for Hillary or a 3rd party candidate means Hillary wins, handily.

2016 Presidential Election = 2016 College Hoops. Everyone who ran for President years ago are kicking themselves because there are no clear cut studs.
