If I have a green light, should a school bus be allowed to let kids off AT the light on the cross street and expect me to stop for him?

Encountered this on the drive home today and would like some opinions.

So, you weren't on the same street, either facing or behind the bus? The bus was on the corner of another street? I don't think you have to stop if it's green.

I think you are suppose to stop, the green light doesn't matter.

The bus was stopped at a red light. I was driving in the intersecting street with a green light. I could not see his stop sign out not the red lights (they're for traffic in front/behind the bus). Some states make it illegal to load/unload kids at intersections for this exact reason.

Safety first (on your end).

True, but the problem is that it looked like he was just waiting at the light while approaching from the side.
If the stop sign was out and the red lights were blinking, all within a five mile radius need to stop. :)

Septa Bus Drivers are the worst, they are so lazy. Half the times, they don't even pull over to their stops, they stay in the middle of the street.

This is what makes me what to pull a Michael Douglas in Falling Down. I drive in the city 3-5 times a week and Septa drivers have become my arch enemies. They should get ticketed for stopping in the middle of the street rather than pulling into their spot. They don't use blinkers, they run lights, and they generally don't give a crap about the other drivers around them.
