There's been a solid stream of SoP scandals over the last several years. Let's recap:
1. Kids for Cash - judges in NEPA getting bribes from private juvenile prison owners to unjustly send teens away
2. Vince Fumo - general scumbag - bribes, fake charities, bid rigging, using paid govt employees for campaigns
3. Sandusky - state college officials enable pedophile
3. porngate - judges sending each other lewd emails, discovered while investigating whether Penn State boosters influenced the governor (then AG) during the Sandusky investigation
4. Kathleen Kane - maniacally pursuing porngate punishment while paving her own road to jail because she leaked grand jury reports and intentionally failed to pursue charges on 4 democrat state lawmakers caught on tape taking bribes
5. Liquor Control Board execs getting bribes/benefits from vendors - a stupid scandal for a board that should not exist.
6. State Treasurer wore a wire trying to trap agencies working for the state... while preparing to plead guilty for extortion

I'm sure that I've missed a few. Please add your own.
 
Wasn't there some issue with the Governor's office charging around $150k a year to taxpayers for the Governor to have an office in Philly which was hardly even used?

Hard to believe how much blood there was with Budd Dwyer's suicide. TV/Movie violence apparently doesn't come close to accurately displaying how much blood there is with a shot to the head.

Yeah, I was surprised to see how much blood was gushing out of his nose.
It was like Niagara Falls.

To your point, Private Pyle in Full Metal Jacket blew his brains out in almost identical fashion, but I don't remember any blood coming out of his nose. It may have something to do with the trajectory of the bullet.

Perhaps spg109876ers will compose a dissertation explaining the gory details.
 
I was just focusing on the state level. If you're going with CoP proper, you've got lots of options:
School Superintendent Ackerman steering contracts, resigning with a huge payout then croaking before indictment, DROP payments (still going on)

the FBI bugging the mayor's office, then the mayor using PPD to find the bugs before they could get enough to bring him down.

Ongoing fraudulent charter schools (new ones pop up as soon as the old ones get shit down)

Anything involving Johnny Doc

Union convictions for arson in Chesnut Hill

It's endless.
 
It's connected to porngate in two of the cases, but three Pennsylvania Supreme Court justices being forced off the court in the last four years.
