St. Joe's Announces 14-Day Pause, No Holy War Wednesday

On Sunday afternoon, St. Joe's announced the basketball program would begin a 14-day pause of all team activities after a positive test among "tier 1" personnel. As a result, there will be no Holy War on Wednesday. This is the second time Villanova has had a game interrupted due to a positive test in the opponent's program, as Temple began a 14-day pause late last week. There has been no comment from Villanova just yet, but I would expect them to aggressively pursue a new opponent for sometime this week.
