I thought the same thing at first, but after I recovered from the initial shock, I determined that this board will continue to exist; however, Eric literally walked out and now this appears to be a raging five alarm fire.

The new moderator is in the unenviable position of trying to stop this thing from burning to the ground.

At first I felt extremely shocked, hurt, and betrayed by Eric but it soon became apparent that he pulled off a Lester Burnham and went out in a blaze of glory.
