A pair of 2021 Villanova commits had a good day at the SLAM 16 Game put on by SLAM Magazine on Saturday.

Patterson scored 22 points and grabbed five rebounds while Njoku added 15 points and nine boards. Among the competition was a pair of future Big East foes in former Nova target Rahsool Diggins and his 2021 UConn teammate Samson Johnson.

Villanova's 2021 class, which was for a time the number one ranked class in the country, is currently ranked 6th by Rivals. A commitment from Trevor Keels would boost the Cats back up near the top of the rankings, but it reamains unclear just when a decision may come. Regardless of what Keels decides, Villanova will have one of the best classes in the country coming to the Main Line next year, and Patterson and Njoku gave a little taste of things last weekend.
