After opening the season at home (East Hartford) v Villanova they will entertain Army also in East Hartford. Those UConn fans that follow football must be thinking 2 - 0

I would love to play Army and Navy. My father still talks about a game against Army at Army I want to say in the late 70s where Army had about 15 yards in penalties and Villanova had close to 200.

Army won their first 2 games by a combined score of 90-0. There developed a QB controversy where they alternated QBs every other down. After losing to VU, Army settled on Leaman Hall, who went on to set Army passing records.
