Nice article in today's Inquirer by Frank Fitzpatrick, about Villanova great Nick Basca. Basca was a local guy who starred at VU. He and his brother enlisted the day after Dec 7, 1941. Nick's brother was wounded but Nick paid the supreme sacrifice on Nov 11, 1944. RIP Nick and all the others who paid the supreme sacrifice.

Veterans should be honored 365 days a year. Enjoyed the Concert for Valor from DC last night. The Boss, Bruce Springsteen didn't let the establishment off the hook performing anti-war epics like "'Fortunate Son" and "Born in the USA" as valid now as back in the day.
