Sorry DP, a little late on the draw. Those tickets were sold almost five years ago! All kidding aside, thanks for the post. We have so many lurkers out there but not many willing to post. Obviously you have some interest in the Nova women or you wouldn't be taking your time in this forum reading five year old posts. If you have some constructive comments on the team, please feel free to post them.

Sure, IMO, Villanova's passing is always a pleasure to watch. For whatever reason we will never win the recruiting war with big state schools. We have also been blessed for years with some fine players, from Jenea Skeeters to Trish Juhline and Courtney Mix. It's sort of inevitable for a dry spell in star talent at some point.

Finally the women's game has always had trouble finishing layups, perhaps the intensity and grit needs to come at practice. Whether it's having the ups or a greater tendency to flinch the women's game has trouble during the heat of battle at the rim. Villanova still plays defense with intensity and grit.
