Mascot is racist because he's white. Students calling for a set of diverse mascots, a black knight, a Latino and a female.

Anyone have any info on how the visit went. I just read an article online that he loves Nova and thinks Jay is a great coach and a great guy. He has apparently been following Nova since he was a little kid.

Today. Hope he sticks.

Will wrap up his visits this weekend. Visited Baylor, and has Illinois and Oregon this weekend.

...Austin Colbert, who chose Indiana, shortly before VU got a commitment from Darryl Reynolds a couple of years ago, has transferred out to Old Dominion.

I liked Colbert and thought he would really develop into a nice PF. It hasn't happened yet, but moving on, and closer to home, to ODU might be a good move for him.

Frankly, that entire group of PFs has yet to show much on the court and surprisingly, DR might turn out to be one of the top two from the group of four JW was looking at signing. Roberson, at Syracuse, is the only one to gain significant playing to so far.

My oldest daughter gets to pick our family vacation spot this summer since she is graduating HS and she thinks she wants to go to Costa Rica, since we've never been there.

Any recommendations for a nice, upscale resort? Not opposed to an all-inclusive as long as it is nice, kind of like Beaches in Turks. I know Costa Rica is a big place so I'm sure there are tons of regions (none of which I have any clue about). Needs to have a nice tennis facility and would ideally be on the coast.

How is the food? Generally speaking, is it safe to travel outside the resort? Are there typically direct flights out of Philly?

Between lacrosse, tennis, and college stuff, the only time we can go is early August. Is it too hot then?

I posted this under Ennis because I'd like to see him play some more out here @ Cal and @ Stanford.

But after Coach K gets 2 big recruits to fill holes left by players - By getting 2 more one and dones -

Here is a story about how a 3 yeaar NBA prospect hears a commitment and loves the Coach and school and comes back for his senior year.

Look at the class Cal has coming in - totally ridiculous. They now have TWO top 10 kids coming in. Ivan Rabb I understand because he goes to Bishop O'Dowd about 3 miles from the Cal campus. But Jaylen Brown is from Georgi and turned down UNC, UK, and Michigan to go to Cal. They are calling it the best recruiting class in Bears history!

The returning NBA level guard is Tyrone Wallace as well as returning guards Jabari Bird and Jordan Matthews.

Cal should now literally be favored to win the Pac12 ahead of Zona - I wouldn't be shocked if they were in the Top 10 by Christmas if not before.


Oh and btw - From their message board "This puts us in the elite level. Maybe not as good as Duke UNC and Kentucky. But we will be just as good as Notre Dame and Villanova."

Nice to see a Pac12 fan thinks our program is in the elite level!

Great game at Citi. Harvey has been incredible. As someone who loves baseball, cap tip towards the Mets organization. They haven't won anything but knew when to rebuild. Good club. Look forward to a fun year in the division.
